Who is Polichinela?

Polichinela (Punchinello) is the Spanish name of Pulcinella, the Neapolitan mask of the Commedia dell'Arte, which spread throughout Europe and was taking different forms and names in each location. Punch in London, Polichinelle in Paris, Kasperl in Germany, Petrushka in Moscow ...

Puppet traveler, looking for himself in the other: puppets, masks, effigies, popular characters, old or new myths and archetypes that speak of today and tomorrow. Cities, as seen through their eyes, shown their twins and other related characters, their inner secrets and hidden treasures.

Outside Europe, other characters follow their same routes. Masks, gods, heroes, rogues, spirits or simply neighbors... Each character reflects an aspect of the culture of the host city. Small myths (or huge) that give us light on the life of the people.
